Skool alternative
Pluff runs your community — topics, classroom, events, points and levels — from your link in bio, where your followers already tap, and moves your Skool members over with one-tap invites. Pluff Starter and Pro cost less per month than Skool Pro — $19 and $49 against $99 — and Pluff Starter takes a smaller cut than Skool Hobby (4% plus card processing against 10% + 30¢). Your community lives on your own pluff.social page next to everything else you sell, and an AI writes the challenges and courses it runs on (checked October 26, 2026).

Paste your group's about page link: Pluff's AI reads its name, about, price, membership tiers and courses and rebuilds the community, with your classroom as a course. In Skool, export your member list as a CSV and upload it. Skool's payments can't move, so each paying member gets free access until their next renewal date (estimated from their join date and price, plus a week) and keeps their spot with one tap. Before inviting them, cancel their Skool subscriptions (Members → the member → Membership settings → Cancel subscription; it ends at the end of their cycle). Then press Invite. You can move your community in under 10 minutes; members come over as they tap their invite.
Pluff has the loop that makes a group sticky: a member earns a point for every reaction their posts and comments get, Levels 1–9 show on their avatar, a Leaderboard shows who's leading, and a Classroom item can unlock at a level — or after a number of days in the community. You can rename the levels, switch points off, and give the community your own look.
Your community is one card on a link in bio that also sells your challenges, courses, guides and 1:1 calls. Email marketing, memberships, payment plans, discount codes and calls are on every Pluff plan, and sales are charged on your own connected Stripe account.
What moves: your community's name, about, price and rules (Pluff rebuilds them from its link), your people from the member export, and your best posts — paste up to 10 and they become pinned posts from you.
What doesn't move: members' own posts, comments and direct messages; lesson videos hosted on the old platform (paste a YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Google Drive link instead); and points and levels (members get a Founding member badge instead).
On monthly price, yes: Pluff Starter and Pro are $19 and $49 a month against $99 for Skool Pro. Against Skool Hobby, Pluff Starter takes 4% plus card processing where Hobby takes 10% + 30¢ (checked October 26, 2026).
Yes. A member earns one point for every reaction their posts and comments get from other members. Levels 1–9 show on their avatar, there is a Leaderboard for the week, the month and all time, and Classroom items can unlock at a level. You can rename the levels or turn points off.
Link your group's about page, upload the members export (Skool lets you export your member list as a CSV), and invite. Paying members are free until their next renewal date — estimated from their join date and price, plus a week — then keep their spot in one tap. Your community's name, about, price and rules are rebuilt from its link, your people come from the member export, and you can bring your best posts (paste up to 10). Members' posts, comments and direct messages don't move, nor do lesson videos hosted on the old platform (paste a YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Google Drive link) or points and levels (members get a Founding member badge instead).
On Pluff, yours: you set up a Stripe account for your own business in the app, sales are charged on it, and Stripe pays you out (weekly by default). Skool's subscriptions FAQ says you cannot use an existing Stripe account: payments are processed on Skool's own merchant account, and Skool creates a new Stripe Express account for you.
