Move your community

Move your community to Pluff

Paste your community's link, upload your member list and press Invite: members join with one tap, and by default paying members aren't charged again for time they already paid for. It works from Skool, Circle, Mighty Networks, Kajabi, Whop, Patreon or any list with emails (Discord and Facebook groups come over by a join link), and you can move your community in under 10 minutes — members come over as they tap their invite. After the date they've paid through, they keep their spot, by default at no higher price than they paid before.

How it works

  1. 1

    Where is it now?

Paste the link or pick the platform. Pluff's AI reads the public page and rebuilds the community: name, about, price, topics, rules and welcome. You review one card, then create it. Already built one? Pick it from your list.

  2. 2

    Bring your people

Upload the export (.csv or .xlsx) or paste emails. Pluff detects the platform, maps the columns and shows the counts before anything happens. You confirm these are your own members, then import. Nothing is sent yet.

  3. 3

    Paying members

For each tier choose one of three: free until the date they've paid through and then the lower of their old price and yours (the default); free until then and then your current price; or everyone re-subscribes now. Every invite shows the exact price and date.

  4. 4

    Invite them

Preview the email, send a test to yourself, then invite. A board shows who's here, who kept their spot and who isn't here yet.

What moves and what doesn't

What moves: your community's name, about, price and rules (Pluff rebuilds them from its link), your people from the member export, and your best posts — paste up to 10 and they become pinned posts from you.

What doesn't move: members' own posts, comments and direct messages; lesson videos hosted on the old platform (paste a YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Google Drive link instead); and points and levels (members get a Founding member badge instead).

Moving from Patreon

Upload your Patreon members export and tick that you have the right to move those members to Pluff — or skip the list and share your claim link with patrons instead. Before Pluff invites paying patrons, pause billing for the month or unpublish your page in Patreon, so nobody is charged twice for the same time. Each paying patron gets free access until the date they've already paid through.

Moving from Kajabi

Export your contacts from Kajabi (a .csv with names, emails and tags) and upload it. You can move students into a Pluff course or a challenge round instead of a community, and Pluff's AI can rebuild your course outline from its page. Before inviting paying members, set each subscription to cancel at period end in Kajabi, or in the Stripe account it uses.

Moving from Discord

Discord shares a member's email only with an app that member authorizes, so there's no list to upload — and Pluff never scrapes one. Post your claim link in your server instead: members tap it, enter their email and claim their spot, matched to anyone you did import or waiting for your approval.

Moving from a Facebook group

Meta shut its Groups API, so a group's member list can't be exported. Pin your claim link in the group: members tap it, enter their email and claim their spot. Paste up to 10 of your best posts and they come over as pinned posts from you.

Paying members aren't asked to pay for time they've already paid for

A paying member gets free access until the date they've already paid through (from the export, or estimated from their join date and rounded up by a week). When they tap Keep my spot, their card is saved and is first charged on that date, at the price you chose for the move. They get a reminder 7 days before, and can cancel from their membership card in two taps.

Pluff won't invite paying members until you tick that you've stopped renewals on the old platform, because the first Pluff charge lands on the date the old one would have renewed. Members who pay through the App Store or Google Play are told to turn off renewal there.

Self-serve on every plan

There's no revenue threshold and no limit on how many people you bring (batches of up to 50,000). Invites go out in waves — the first 50, then up to 500 an hour, inside Pluff's daily sending budget — and a board shows when the next wave goes.

Circle's course migration needs its annual Business plan or Circle Plus, and it prioritises payment migrations for communities with over $250K a year in subscription revenue. Skool lets you export your member list, but not posts, comments, DMs or subscriptions.

Members stay in control

Every invite has a small Don't move me link: it removes that person's row, erases their imported details apart from a hash, and stops move emails to them. A batch can be undone while people haven't arrived. Imported people who haven't arrived are never shown to other members and are left out of your marketing emails, and the personal details of anyone who never arrives are dropped 180 days after your last invite.

Questions

Will my members pay twice?

Not for the same time. Paying members are free until the date they've already paid through, and Pluff won't invite paying members until you've confirmed you've stopped renewals on the old platform, so the first Pluff charge lands on the date the old one would have renewed.

What if I don't have their emails (Discord, Facebook)?

Share your community's link in the old place. People tap “Were you a member on …? Claim your spot”, enter their email, and either get a sign-in link (if it matches your import) or wait for your approval. Facebook has shut its Groups API and Discord shares a member's email only with an app that member authorizes, so Pluff never scrapes member lists.

Can I move Patreon members?

Yes. Upload the list and confirm you have the right to move those members to Pluff, or share the claim link instead.

Can I undo it?

Yes, while people haven't arrived: undoing a batch removes everyone who hasn't come in. Members who have already arrived stay.

Can members say no?

Yes. Every invite carries a Don't move me link that removes them and stops move emails to them.

Do my posts move?

No. Members' posts, comments and DMs stay behind. Bring your best posts instead: paste up to 10 of your own and they become pinned posts from you, marked as coming from the old platform.
